The ''Freeze Frame'' was written by A.Ager and the hardware produced and distributed by ''Evesham Micros'' (fomerly known as ...). There were several versions of the ''Freeze Frame'' from '''MK.I''' to '''MK.IIIB''' (which for better readability will go by '''MK1''' to '''MK3B''' here avoiding roman numbers). The ''Freeze Frame'' series was later joined with the ''Lazer'' utility cartridge (released as ''MK.IV and Lazer'') but quickly went to become ''Freeze Machine'' practically being ''MK.V and Lazer II''.
A different '''[http://www.lemon64.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=394712 Freeze Frame]''' cartridge is described and pictured on a lemon64 forum thread. The cartridge shown there is a hardcopy cartridge to dump the screen to an attached printer. From the same thread it reads that until ''Freeze Frame MK3B'' the cartridge came without reset button and only the ''Freeze'' button was present.
